information or data tidal wave sweeping all over the world. So in this drastic situation,
as far as I concerned, it is necessary and beneficial for people to get
information through different news.
Diversity contributes to critical
thinking - an important element of all professional disciplines - is considered
significant in academic fields because it enables one to analyze, evaluate,
explain, and restructure their thinking; consequently decreases the risk of
adopting, acting on, or thinking with, a false belief. Most authoritative philosophers and
scientists such as Aristotle and Newton believe that schools should focus on
teaching students critical thinking skills and offering widen and different news,
as this complicated process helps school create leaders; instructors that
promote critical thinking skills can benefit the students by increasing their confidence
and creating a repeatable though process to question and confidently approach a
solution. Therefore, an abundant
knowledge resource system is as beneficial as an effective tool to help people
develop capacities for independent judgment and ethical reasoning, which a way
of deciding whether a claim from news is true, partially true, or false.
From business aspect, referring to different sources, we
can judge the authenticity and accuracy of information. To some degree, the
information is not reliable because of unexpected and uncertain situations;
such as authors’ mistakes or prejudice. By comparing the same information from
various resources, business men are able to establish a definitely judgment and
discretion; especially when journalists who are preparing to draft a data
analysis or statement, readers should be careful and prudent in light of
preventing bias. Then entrepreneurs concerning these issues would make
sufficient investigations and collections from different sources, ensure
accuracy, analysis details, and make decisions.
Abundant information, however, may puzzle people. The
process of independent thinking, to some degree, will rack one’s head and
consume energies if people receive a great deal of information at the same
time. Despite that, the advantages of abundant resources overweight its drawbacks;
and here we are talking and extending an appropriate degree.
